US Embassy remain closed today, to reopen on November 13

-US Embassy remain closed today: All parts of the US Mission, including the Consular Section, US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Information Resource Centre, United States Agency for International Development (USAID), US Peace Corps offices and the US Consular Agency in Montego Bay and the Cayman Islands are closed on Veterans Day weekend on Saturday. The United States Embassy and its affiliated offices will reopen on Monday. The embassy is closed on Saturday in the mark of Veterans Day weekend, so all the work will be started on next week. All post offices are closed Saturday.

Restaurants, stores and organizations in Lancaster County will offer free food, meal deals and other services over the next couple of days in honor of the Saturday, Nov. 11, observance of Veterans Day.

Veterans Day is also known as Armed forces Day in the United Kingdom is an annual event celebrated to commemorate the service of men and women in the British Armed Forces. This Veterans Day was first observed in 2006. Veterans Day is intended to honor and thank all military personnel who served the United States in all wars, particularly living veterans.
