Doklam Border Standoff set to end, China withdrawing troops

The two countries had deployed their troops for nearly two months.No one was ready to withdraw.Now both are agreeing to withdrawing troops. A press release issued by the Ministry of External Affairs today said the “expeditious disengagement of border personnel at the face-off site at Doklam has been agreed to and is on-going”. 

In recent weeks, India and China have maintained diplomatic communication in respect of the incident at Doklam. During these communications, we were able to express our views and convey our concerns and interests,” the statement says.  

The settlement of the India china war Doklam controversy has helped the whole world not only for India and China, because if there was a war between the two countries, it could have been a big threat to the world. One thing remained in India’s favor that India continued on its stand, they were not afraid of China’s threat.

The resolution of the standoff also came ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s likely participation in the BRICS meeting next month. There is no official confirmation on the trip yet.
