Punjab to host mega job fair in Ludhiana

LUDHIANA:Punjab Government announced to organize a Mega Job Fair at Ludhiana City  on August 25th. Many companies has given their consent to participate in this fair to give placement to the prospective employees. While giving information, Ludhiana (West)MLA  Bharat Bhushan Ashu said that this job fair would be organized in government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Gill Road here.

He said that Punjab Cabinet has given the nod to fulfill the pre election promise made with people. These jobs will be given to eligible and unemployed youth through these kind of job fairs. He also informed that Cabinet Minister Charanjit Singh Channi will inaugurate the job fair at 11.00am on August 25th in which many companies will reach to provide jobs to unemployed youth. ITI pass candidates may take part in interview.
It is expected that more than 4000 jobs would be provided to eligible candidates, he added. He further said that interested companies and candidates would have to enroll themselves on web portals www.dtepunjab.gov.in and www.ggnpunjab.com
