LTC encashment For Punjab employees using private vehicles

Chandigarh: The Punjab Finance Department has clarified that government officials or employees can avail leave encashment equal to 10 days of earned leave even if they apply for Leave Travel Concession (LTC) against a travel on their personal vehicle. An official spokesman said that employees have to submit required evidences along with claim for LTC to prove his visit to the declared place. He said that evidences such as proof of stay at that place on that date would be required to be presented with a bill.

Spokesman said that such evidences would be treated as correct only if they fully satisfied the concerned competent authority and audit requirements. The spokesman further said that in absence of clear evidence of travel to the declared place of visit, the claim of leave encashment would not be acceptable.
