Mankotia urges Union Tourism minister to restart flights Shimla airport

Vice Chairman, H.P. Tourism Development Board Major Vijay Singh Mankotia has raised the demand with the Government of India to restart flights to Shimla airport at the earliest keeping in view the importance of this hill capital.

At least 30 feared dead as bus falls into Gobind Sagar in Himachal Pradesh

 About 30 persons were feared drowned when a bus plunged into the Gobind Sagar reservoir this morning at Rayian near Bilaspur, 95-km from here. Twelve bodies have so far been recovered and the bus has been pulled out of the water, Bilaspur Deputy Commissioner Ajay Sharma said, adding that a search is on for those missing.

Beas students mishap, One more body recovered, 19 still missing

5 bodies recovered, parents left Hyderabad for Chandigarh on special flight arranged by Andhra Pradesh Government

Andhra Pradesh government officials  are taking parents of the students, who were washed away by special flight to Chandigarh and from there they will be taken by a special vehicle to Kullu.
